We are so excited about an upcoming event on Super Bowl Sunday @ MCC! We are calling it

"Super Prayer Sunday- Expect VICTORY In Your Game!"

We will be dedicating a special time in our morning service to pray over anyone with a need or any prayer needs we receive(request will remain confidential).

Psalm 73:26

I love Psalm 73:26 in the New Living Translation! It says, "My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever." It gives me such encouragement and peace knowing that no matter what we face in life, be it sickness or despair or just everyday struggles- GOD IS OUR STRENGTH! When we are worn and feel like we can't go on- GOD IS OUR STRENGTH! When we are lonely and afraid- GOD IS OUR STRENGTH! In the New King James version, it says "My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

I am so excited to learn this new song from Gateway Worship! This is one of the most anointed and powerful songs I've heard in awhile! Even as our praise team is learning it, we feel God's presence so strong. The words to this song are life-changing! Jesus loved us so much that even in our sin, he gave His life as a sacrifice. I Will Exalt

We have a long list of new songs that we are working on right now, but I wanted to share one of them with you now. Worship is all about entering God's presence. Drawing yourself to that place where it's just you and God. It's in that place that not only will your needs be meet and God's direction and guidance appear, but it's also in that place that we do what we were created to do- bring glory and honor to Him. 21 Day Challenge!

The U-TURN Youth Group @ MCC is doing a 21 Day Challenge to prepare their hearts for the upcoming 2009 See You At The Pole, and we'd love for you to join us!
The way it works is: each day, for 21 days, a short devotional will be posted on the U-TURN BLOG. Simply use the devotion for insight and as a guideline to study the Word. Afterwards, spend a few minutes in prayer, praise and listening to God.
Studies show that if you repeat something for 21 days straight, it will become a habit. We want daily quiet time with God to become a habit in our life. We are believing God for awesome things to happen in the next 3 weeks and would love to have you join us!

My Desire

What is your greatest desire? Riches? Fame? Happiness? Success? All of those things are great, but as children of God, our greatest desire should be to be used by Him. Every morning, we need to surrender ourselves, lay everything at His feet, and ask Him to use us in a mighty way today. There are certain people that only YOU can reach. If you are not willing to be used by God, how will they be reached?
I encourage you to surrender to be used by Him everyday. Be willing to surrender your all to Him and let Him use you to touch someone's life.

I LOVE the song "Take It All" by Third Day. It's so reassuring to know that no matter what stresses or dissapointments we go through in life, God is always there waiting for us to cast our cares on Him. We Are So Excited!!!

Our Worship Team is so excited about our upcoming Spring Women's Conference! We have been working really hard, preparing for an awesome time of praise & worship, as well as, Word! We have been praying and seeking the face of God to show us what music to do that will open and touch the hearts of every woman that attends, and will usher in the very presence of God! We know that in His presence is where we will find our joy, peace, strength and any other need that we may have.
Our team is so excited about the new songs that we will be introducing as the conference approaches and we hope you will love them too!!
